Be Well Bell Unveiling – Richwood Valley Campus
April 24 @ 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Free
The Alpha Psi Tau chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Ozarks Tech in conjunction with Burrell Health’s Be Well Initiatives will hold an unveiling ceremony for the placement of a Be Well Bell, decorated by local artist Riana Clark, along the outdoor trail at the Richwood Valley Campus on Thursday, April 24 at 3pm. Be Well Bells are a symbol of mental health awareness and hope and healing for communities. Ozarks Tech students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to attend the unveiling ceremony.
The purchase and permanent placement of a Be Well Bell at the Ozarks Tech Richwood Valley Campus is the culmination of the Alpha Psi Tau PTK chapter’s annual Honors in Action Project. Bringing a Be Well Bell to Ozarks Tech has only been possible through the effort, support, and dedication of the Alpha Psi Tau officer team, Ozarks Tech staff and administration, and the staff of the Be Well Community and Burrell Health.
The Be Well Community began in 2020 under the direction of Burrell Behavioral Health and one initiative they facilitate is the placement of “Be Well Bells” across the community to serve as visual reminders of hope and healing.
