Free CPR Training Event from AHA
October 2 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pmFree
We’re asking all OTC staff, faculty and students to please take 30 minutes of your day to learn the lifesaving skills of Hands-Only CPR. Why? 70 percent of cardiac arrests happen in private or residential settings. Statistically speaking, if you are called on to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love: a spouse, a parent, a co-worker, a child or a friend.
We’re bringing the training to you! The Hands-Only CPR mobile tour will include music, learning labs, and emcees. Why music? Music is an integral part of our daily lives and we can use the beat of music to help save a life.
Please pre-register for a training session at https://HandsOnlyCPR.cvent.com/OzarkCollege. The free sessions will be held at the following times at the Student Plaza south of the IC Building on the OTC Springfield Campus.
• 10 a.m.
• 11 a.m.
• 1 p.m.
• 2 p.m.
Additionally, the first 250 participants will receive a free CPR Anytime Kit® that they can use to practice and extend the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR to family and friends. We hope to see you there!
