Politically Active Meeting: Legalize Marijuana?

Politically Active is once again having a meeting! And after the House of Representatives voted to legalize marijuana last month, we figured this was as good a time as any to dust off an old standard.

What is the future of marijuana in Missouri and the United States? What are the merits of full-scale legalization vs. decriminalization vs. keeping it in the policy limbo it’s currently in? Are you new and somewhat intimidated by this policy discussion? Can we please get a better feel for what TCH, cannabis, or hemp even is?!? And can we do it in a room full of excitable OTC students who want to enjoy some free food and talk policy? Because we do have free food!
